Prototypes for the Marda Loop Archives
3D printed plastic, mixed media, wheat paste, paper
Marda Loop, Calgary, Alberta

As is becoming increasingly popular in museums and sites of historical interpretation, we decided to make 3D prints of some of the objects from the Marda Loop Archives that could be actively handled (without gloves!) as a part of our community investigation into the history of the neighbourhood. We also made some buttons to accompany our public outreach mission for the Marda Loop Archives.

Special thanks to Mount Royal University Libraries for access to their incredible Maker Studio and expertise in creating 3D prints of the Marda Loop archives and printing services.
